Kelli joined the staff in 1997 working in the Day School and quickly moved to her current position working with communications.

Her responsiblities include creating and coordinating print and web communications that reinforce the message and ministry of Calvary Baptist Church to internal and external audiences. She works directly with each ministry for communications support and creativity. Kelli graduated from Appalachian, majoring in communications with a concentration in journalism.

Kelli married her husband, Andy, in 1999.

Jim Boyd joined the staff in February of 1995.  He gives direction to the Support Staff which includes Food Services, Security, Physical Properties, Information Technology, Housekeeping, Church Records and Event Coordination.

Jim and his wife Linda have three adult children, Megan, Kristen, and Nathan.

Ben Crawford joined the staff in December of 2003. His duties include assisting the church in various aspects of media technologies with a primary focus on Sunday morning worship. He coordinates volunteers, operates and maintains equipment, and manages media requests for special events within the church.

He has been married to his wife Jennifer since 1999. They have two children, Lydia and James.

Ben is a graduate of NCSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and obtained his Master of Arts in Communication from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.

David Dietter is the Food Service Manager. He joined the staff in 2005.

David graduated in 1985 with a bachelor degree in Hotel Administration. He has worked in hotel and restaurant management for over 20 years. David gives leadership to our Food Services. He also coordinates the many staff and volunteers who work daily in preparing and serving food for church events.

David and his wife, Dawn, have three children, Mandy, Samantha and Zachery.

Al Fausch is Director of Business and Financial Administration.  He joined the staff in 1978.

Al's responsibilities include oversight of all the finances of the church along with administration of human resources, insurance, and legal issues.

Al and his wife Sharon have one son, Allen.

Doug Hill is Director of Christian Activities. He directs the church's overall Recreation Ministry of sports and recreational activities. He joined the staff in 1985.

The Christian Activities Ministry includes activities ranging from Aerobics and arts and crafts to Watermelon Fellowships and "X"cursions, along with many other activities and events.

Doug and his wife Linda have three children: Drew, Blake, and Abby.

Sheri has been serving as the Children’s Ministry Assistant since February 2002. She assists with leadership responsibilities in Bible Fellowship, Kids Zone, VBS, and Bible Drill.

Sheri received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Education from Purdue University and a Masters in Education from UNCG.

She and her husband Brian married in 1989 and they now have two girls, Jessica and Jennifer.

Martha Lennon is the Headmaster of Calvary Baptist Day School providing leadership to the Elementary, Middle and High Schools.

CBDS provides week-day Christian education to over 700 students from preschool through the 12th grade.

Martha and her husband Dennis have two adult children, Holly and Alan.

Karen Malek is the Director of Preschool. She joined the staff in 1997.

Karenis responsible for programming for preschoolers, birth through Kindergarten, in Bible Fellowship, Sunday evening services, Mission Friends, and all church-wide events.

She attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. She also served in church staff positions in Mobile, Alabama and in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Karen and her husband, Jim, have five children, John, Cathy, Brian, Lori Beth and Mark.

Jonathan is the Assistant Minister of Music / Creative Arts. He joined the staff in June, 2004.

Jonathan’s primary responsibilities are to recruit and develop; both spiritually and musically, praise bands that will be used to lead worship at our contemporary services (Elevate). He assists the Associate Pastor / Teacher in leading the technical teams involved with our contemporary services. He also gives leadership and direction to the creative arts to be used in our Elevate services.

Jonathan and his wife, Leslie, have a daughter, Kaela.

Janet Morris is the Children’s Choir Coordinator at Calvary. She joined the Music Staff in August of 2000.

Her responsibilities include coordinating choir events and administrative needs, planning singing opportunities for choirs, and staffing and recruiting for 11 childrens choirs ranging in age from 3 years to 6th grade. She is also responsible for overseeing and staffing three children’s handbell choirs.

Janet is a graduate of Asbury College with a degree in Christian Ministries and a minor in Music.

She is married to David and has two children – Rachel and Ryan.

Jan is the Pastoral Care Coordinator. She joined the staff in June, 1986.

Jan coordinates the Pastor on call ministry assignments relative to hospital visitation, homebound visitation, and bereavement ministry. She also is responsible for the coordination of funeral arrangements held at the church.

She has been married to her husband Jerry since 1968. They have two grown children, Scott and Shanda, and four grandchildren.

Jonathan Ruble joined the staff in 1992 and is the Manager of Information Systems.

He moved from Hartsville, SC in 1986 to attend Piedmont Bible College. After additional training, he started working at Calvary as the electronics technician and gradually moved to overseeing the implemenation of the computer network. His duties include the managing and technical support of the network infrastucture for both the Church and Day School. His oversight also covers the phone system, voicemail, copiers and other data access technologies.

He is married to Dawn, and they have four children, Tyler, Seth, Ethan and Grace.

Jonathan Sizemore is the Assistant Director of Business and Financial Administration. He joined Calvary's staff in May 2003.

His duties include assisting with the oversight of the general administrative and financial affairs of the church and Human Resources.

Jonathan grew up at Calvary and is the son of Tom and Jettie Sizemore. He is married to Kerri, who is currently a Kindergarten teacher at Calvary Baptist Day Shcool.

Galen Tidd is Assistant Director of Christian Activities and the Director of Calvary’s Discovery Quest. He joined the staff in 1997.

Galen’s responsibilities include assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Recreation Ministry. As the Director of Discovery Quest, he gives leadership to the 11-week childcare program offered during the summer to school-aged children.

Galen and his wife Jenny have two children, Nathaniel and Elijah Daniel.
